UMS Group Inc. was founded in 1989 by Jack Shearman. In 2007 UMS Group Inc. expanded its operations within Europe and moved the European office to Amsterdam, establishing UMS Group Europe. UMS Group was sold in late 2023, the European office was acquired by OHROS Energy Group and rebranded as OHROS Consulting Group B.V. Besides the office in The Netherlands, OHROS Consulting Group opened offices in Italy, Portugal and Spain.
